When a patient is admitted into our Ambulatory Detox treatment program, they will first be assessed by our staff. Each patient will be evaluated on an individual basis, and treatment will be tailored to their specific needs.
For the duration of the treatment, services will include:
Assessment of psychological and social signs and symptoms of substance abuse and dependence
Assessment for mental health disorders, trauma, and suicide risk
Monitoring of vital signs
Assessment and dispensing of medications to treat withdrawal symptoms
Substance Abuse Counselor consultation
Ambulatory Detox typically is limited to 72 hours or less, but may last longer depending on the individual. Management and monitoring of Ambulatory Detox will be performed by nursing staff.
Upon discharge, our staff will provide referrals for ongoing addiction and substance abuse treatment.
