Holistic Care, Life-focused Case Management, and Community
We help you heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We also focus on supporting you stay healthy by planning for your future and connecting you to meaningful sober community.
Therapeutic and Holistic Care
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) affects more than someone’s physical health. It also causes their spiritual and emotional health to deteriorate. A deep sense of shame and disconnection are often part of the destructive behavior patterns associated with SUD.
At Boulder Integrated Health, we believe the recovery process is a journey in discovering the truth of who you are. This can only happen when negative belief systems are disassembled. To support this process, we offer holistic and therapeutic services to our patients.
These services include group and one-on-one therapy sessions, Acudetox (acupuncture designed for detox), slow movement yoga, and individual sessions with our integrated healing professionals.
Our compassionate staff understands the discomfort associated with substance abuse detox and offers support in a way that resonates with each of our patients as they begin this process of self-discovery.
Life-focused Case Management
We recognize that each of our patient’s life circumstances are as unique as they are. Many patients begin their recovery journey amid chaotic or disheartening situations: distressed personal relationships, problems with employers or educational institutions, financial difficulties, consequences with the law. No matter what the issue, our team is available to lend a hand.
When they are admitted, each patient is assigned a Case Management Team made up of a licensed therapist and a Certified Addictions Counselor. The Case Management Team helps identify the issues in the patient’s life, and provides the support and resources that will best support the patient to address each issue.
Once admitted, our team works with them and their family to create an individualized plan. Depending on the individual, the aftercare plan could include:
Referral to a more intensive residential treatment program
Enrollment in an outpatient program
Recommendations for legal or academic support
Recommendations for further therapeutic treatment and support
Assistance in connecting with a local recovery community
At every step of the way, the Case Management Team is there to champion the patient's success as they transition into a new life.
We know that community is key to long-term recovery. That's why we've developed extensive relationships with the local collegiate, athletic, creative, and traditional sober communities in Boulder. Some of our partners include:
